Toei Asakusa Line to Tobu Line at Asakusa
How to change from the Toei Asakusa Line to the Tobu Line at Asakusa. The two stations are about 500 m apart; leave Toei at the Kaminarimon gate and walk about 5 minutes, partly outdoors.
The Toei Asakusa Line and Tobu stations are both called Asakusa, but they are about 500 m apart. Leave the Toei station through the Kaminarimon gate and head for Exit A5.
From there, walk to the Tobu station in the Matsuya / EKIMISE building, about 5 minutes. Part of the way is outdoors; the Shin-Nakamise shopping arcade gives some cover.
- The Komagatabashi side gate of the Toei station is not the way to Tobu.
- If you are coming from the Ginza Line instead, the Ginza Line to Tobu transfer is shorter and stays indoors.
