Namba transfer guide なんば

Transfers at Namba, Osaka, for visitors: Nankai Line (from Kansai Airport) to the Midosuji subway line and to Kintetsu for Nara, and the Midosuji Line to Nankai for Kansai Airport, with the Japanese signs to follow.

Several Nambas

Nankai Namba, Osaka Metro Namba, Kintetsu/Hanshin Osaka-Namba and JR Namba are separate stations. Follow the company name on the signs.

Use the 3F North Gate

Nankai's main gate is the 3F North Gate at the front of the platforms. The long escalators down to the subway start right outside it.

Stay underground

Once you leave Nankai, go down and stay underground. Coming up to the street makes the transfer harder to follow.
